The Winter Seminar - Using different mediums for finish work

Attention MTA members: Join us January 22nd, 2011 at Curt Shahan's Woodland Wonders Taxidermy Studio where master taxidermists Dan Hudzik and Cole Cruickshank will demonstrate different methods of finishing reptiles, fish, and even gameheads with an airbrush, powder pigments, rub-on paints, oil paints, water colors, pencils, and more!!! If you've ever wondered how other taxidermists are able to create the effects you see in the competition room, now is your chance. Cole will be painting a couple fish, possibly a skin mount and a replica using several different mediums, and Dan will be finishing either an alligator or snake using the rub-ons. Then we will finish a gamehead using some non-traditional methods. The business meeting will immediately follow the seminar. We look forward to seeing you there.
