The workshop will begin at 9am, but those participating hands-on are asked to be there at 8:30am to get set up. We will be molding a panfish using the Bondo method, and if time allows I will demonstrate how I would cast the fish. Participants will need to bring a small panfish, preferably a bluegill, but any panfish will work, a hair dryer if you have one, and nitrile gloves if you have a latex allergy. Kits including tools and supplies will be available for sale for $20. Generous donations from Matuska Taxidermy Supply and Research Mannikins have allowed us to offer these kits at such low prices. The MTA thanks these companies for their continued support of our organization. If you plan to participate please contact me and let me know as soon as possible so that I can reserve a kit for you. I also have a couple extra panfish if someone needs one, just let me know and I'll put your name on one. Any MTA member is invited to attend at no charge if they choose not to participate. We will have a business meeting that day as well.
